Eaton Corporation Testing Support Administrator in Jackson, Michigan

Eaton’s Aerospace Fluid Electrical Distribution Group located in Jackson, MI has an opening for a Testing Support Administrator.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative technology support by effectively utilizing the current version of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and other project software packages.

  • Creates and/or modifies routine and advance reports, metrics, presentations, intranet postings and correspondence relative to detailed questions and information needs using the department’s database systems.

  • Manages processing of outside vendor invoice payments, including Account Payable vendor set-up process.

  • Resolves Accounts Payable and invoicing issues according to established processes.

  • Prepares documents, spreadsheets and organizes, files and retrieves documentation(electronic and hard copy)

  • Manages content of department webpages and various SharePoint sites.

  • Responsible for administrative functions including on-line processing of travel arrangements and expense reports, scheduling, and coordinating global meetings/video conferencing within the Aerospace Test Engineering Department and across corporate functions, and managing electronic calendars.

  • Researches specific issues at direction of professionals including internet searches and reviews files to obtain and organize data.

  • Creates, organizes, and maintains efficient workflow processes in terms of overall administrative and project work.

  • Support testing with Enovia task creation, incoming hardware inspection and documentation, and organization of test samples

  • Participates in department teams to continuously improve work processes.

  • Deals with highly confidential materials and culturally diverse population as Eaton is a global organization.

  • Completes other duties as appropriate/specific to assigned group

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution required

  • Minimum of three years professional experience is required

  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
