Job Description:

The Equity and Options corrections sub-team performs a critical function within the Error Control team, and the position being filled is responsible for processing market action trade corrections. On a daily basis the team is responsible for processing trade corrections from branch offices, internal business units, and external investment managers, and reconciling all activity in the error accounts. As trade corrections are received, the team must go to market and place a trade to cover the error. The team also reconciles share breaks across numerous error accounts daily. The result can be financial loss to the Firm on market orders if items are not marketed in a timely fashion. All aspects of the role are related to market execution and ensuring timely marketing.

Required skills:

  • Proficient in PC applications, including Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, and Power Point.

  • Attention to detail is crucial for team processes.

  • Must be able to work well under pressure and exercise sound judgment.

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must be comfortable in an environment with a heavy focus on numeric analysis and accuracy.

Desired skills:

  • Candidate is expected to work well with limited supervision, have excellent follow-up and organizational skills, and be a team player.

  • Candidate also must have consistently demonstrated such attributes with past positions or assignments.

  • Series 7 license a plus.

  • Completion of 3-5 hours of Investing in You training.

  • College degree preferred.
