Bank of America GWIM Senior Operations Representative in Jacksonville, Florida
The Investment Manager Services and Reconciliation Team is responsible for reconciliation of Merrill Lynch One Firm Discretionary (FD) accounts on APL and Optima. The team reconciles positions, cash and transactional discrepancies caused by both trade and non-trade activity.
The GWIM Senior Operations Representative is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and resolving daily breaks for Merrill Lynch One Firm Discretionary Accounts (FD) including but not limited to Unified Managed Accounts and Consults products. The reconciliation is Merrill Lynch books and records versus A Programming Language (APL). Reconciliation is based on breaks that appear due to several different issues including trade discrepancies, corporate action discrepancies and non-trade transaction discrepancies.
Monitor, analyze, and resolve daily breaks in Positions or Cash report
Support department initiatives
Work with Managed Account Advisors to resolve pending trades
Become subject matter expert in break analysis and resolution
Identify and analyze all global issues and/or trends
Maintain an effective, open line of communication within the team as well as other areas within the Firm
Update/Maintain accurate procedures
Process improvement and technology enhancement coordination
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel
Detail oriented and able to research and resolve complex issues
Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships
Ability to understand technical system and data flow
Ability to work well under pressure
Ability to multitask and adapt to change
Strong communication and organizational skills
