Bank of America GWIM Senior Operations Representative in Jacksonville, Florida

Job Description:

Processes routine/standard transactions according to established procedures and prescribed processes in support of GWIM Operations. Daily responsibilities will cover one or more operations functional areas such as: analyses, report generation, opening new accounts, trade processing, payment processing, data entry, etc. Provides quality service and effective and efficient operations support for the assigned area's internal business partners and/or external customers and clients. May provide advice and assist with training for less experienced team members. Individuals at this level are expected to use some independence of thought but to refer more complex problems to Operations Team Manager and/or Supervisor. Generally 1 year or more experience is preferred.

The candidate will lead the migration of asset transfer functions from US Trust Securities Operations to Financial Data Services. The candidate will complete tasks critical to a successful migration such as: review and update of written procedure documents; identify, document, and mitigate business disruption scenarios; define, gather, and implement performance measurements and metrics. The candidate will be expected to train with Securities Operations representatives and collaborate with peers and management to implement process enhancements. The candidate will be involved in the documentation of system development requirements, testing, and implementation. Upon successful migration of functions, the candidate will provide exceptional service while ensuring the timely and seamless transfer of client assets between financial institutions.

Required skills:

  • College degree required.

  • Five years of related work experience.

  • Previous experience with asset transfer or settlement, particularly in a back office setting.

  • Proficient in PC applications, especially Excel.

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills.

  • Must be comfortable in an environment with a heavy focus on exceptional service and accuracy.

  • Attention to detail and problem solving proficiency are crucial for team processes.

  • Must be able to work well under pressure and exercise sound judgment.

  • Expected to demonstrate leadership qualities and be a team player, and must have consistently demonstrated such attributes with past positions or assignments.

Desired skills:

  • Series 7 license a plus.
