Trade Administration associates are responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of the security, client, and transactional data required to support the portfolio implementation functions of the adviser. Previous experience in asset management is not required. Candidates should be analytical, operate well in a team environment, and have strong communication skills. An educational background in Investments or Finance is a plus.
Suitability and on-boarding of client accounts.
Processing of clients account maintenance transactions.
Liaison to the custodians account enrollment and reconciliation groups.
Identify and analyze daily transactional issues, ensuring that the information is accurately reflected in the portfolio accounting system.
Provide daily pre and post-trade support to the Portfolio Overlay Management Team, discretionary investment managers and DVP accounts.
Communicate corporate action elections to custodians and ensure that corporate action events are accurately processed in client accounts.
Enhance knowledge of all roles within the Trade Administration Team and Portfolio Overlay Management Team.
This position requires frequent interaction with stakeholders across the entire GWIM organization, including Merrill Lynch Financial Advisors, US Trust Portfolio Managers, MSG Product management, IM&G, Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Technology and Operations.

Responsibilities include monitoring the performance of a domestic discretionary or non-discretionary, advisory product, which may include managing a product within the brokerage or institutional offering. Responsibilities include working with more senior Product Specialists in developing product plans, strategies and enhancements, and performing data collection and coordination activities.
Bachelors degree required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong time management and organizational skills ability to work in fast-paced high volume business.
Superior interpersonal skills necessary to communicate complex information a clear, concise and well-organized manner
Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail, self-motivated, strong work ethic and work effectively in a team environment
