Eaton Corporation EHS Manager in Jiangsu Sheng, China

  1. Understand Corporate EHS System and China / international EHS regulations that apply to the plants to ensure Plants EHS systems are developed to comply with those regulations.

  2. Develop and implement EHS policies and management system in the plants.

  3. Ensure that process needed for ISO14000: OHSAS8001systems are implemented and maintained.

  4. Assess EHS risks related to operation and provide recommendation to manage the risks, take the authority at Campus level to stop and restart production line regarding safety.

  5. Advise the management on EHS performance and improvement areas.

  6. Manage all aspects of EHS incidents from reporting, investigation, root cause analysis, recommendation of change and implementation of change.

  7. Responsible for the plants emergency response plan and update.

  8. Involves in safety working instruction formulation/validation together with industrial process, define with production, process regarding machining safety guard and labor protection instruments and occupational health and safety environment

  9. Promote customer required awareness and capability through system, flow and fit training.

Ensure Facility overall environment, including the management of wastes, sanitary, and virescence.

Provide technical guidance and support for swage treatment, Fire Extinguisher System for Maintenance Department.

  1. Manage Security Guide team, and ensure safety of employees and properties.

  2. Liaison with EHS related government functions, and get relative support.

  3. Responsible for the operation of Facility EHS Committee.

  4. Other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

Responsible for Wuxi Plant’s Environment, Health and Safety, EHS training champion, manager and solve all EHS issue, improve and develop EHS process and rule.

Bachelor degree or above, majored in environment, health, safety or related engineering discipline (Majored in machine is a plus);

B. Familiar with Chinese EHS law & regulations;

C. More than 3 years EHS working experience, at least 2 years management position in multinational company;

D. Internal Auditor Certificate of ISO14000 and OHSAS18001;

E. Strong communication/influencing skills;

F. Must have good command of English, both oral & written;

G. Ability to interface effectively with all levels within the company as well as organizations outside Eaton;

H. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
