Seed Technician – Seed Processing
The Monsanto Organization is seeking a highly motivated Seed Processing Technician that will report to the Processing Lead and is a member of the Field and Seed Operations Team. The role includes managing, overseeing, and continuous improvement of the sites seed processing and shipping workflows to enable the business.
The Seed Processing Technician will maintain a strong relationship with the Functional leads and work collaboratively with other farms across the state in standardizing systems and workflows across the state. The successful candidate will adapt quickly to changes in our business, build strong relationships and leverage the talents, skills and resources of team members.
Lead peers and field crew in the many sub routines that comprise seed processing.
Responsible in researching, collaborating and owning projects that will enhance efficiency and productivity of workforce.
Responsible for conducting and standardizing trainings on new applications or workflows related to Seed Processing.
Liaise with nursery management team to ensure quality and timely Seed Processing.
Qualifications – Required Skills/Experience
High School graduate
Capability to clearly present information and influence or persuade others through written or written communications
Minimum 1-year experience programming PLC’s/Micro controllers and integrating various electrical components via PCB.
Minimum 1-year experience working with RFID hardware such as Impinj
Minimum 1-year experience working with RFID software – Tagnet or equivalent middle ware
Demonstrated ability to lead a team
Ability to make decisions and solve problems while exhibiting situational judgment
Valid driver’s license Desired Skills/Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience
Experienced in Computer systems such as Nintex Form/Workflows
Bilingual – Filipino language
