We have a great opportunity for a HSE Regional Coorditator to join our world-class team in Poland, Krakow to support the Distribution Business Unit across Poland, Romania and Czech Republic.

This role requires a large amount of travel across the region with around 50% annually.

The top responsibilities of the role include; training employees, working with ISO systems, Health & Safety, and high levels of engagement with stakeholders at all levels, including the Senior Leadership team.

Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:

  • Performs routine functions related to a site's environmental permit requirements and safety requirements.

  • Provides support and advice to site employees and management.

  • Assists with the application of engineering and administrative controls.

  • Supports implementation and maintenance of the site HSEMS, control of significant aspects and risks and achievement of HSE objectives/targets.

  • Monitors the day-to-day operations associated with pollution prevention, waste management, air quality, water quality and related programs.

  • Conduct site HSE inspections.

  • Implement, manage and control site H&S communication strategy.

  • Assist in Health and Safety audits and produce audit reports and follow up any actions.

Qualifications

Skills:

  • Proven track record within a similar HSE role.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of occupational health & safety.

  • NEBOSH National Certificate or equivalent (will be an advantageous)

  • Multi-site management experience.

  • Ideally worked within a global organization, or has an understanding of working internationally.

  • Excellent communication skills – confident with senior level stakeholders.

  • English- fluent skills in speaking and writing

  • Analyzing skills.

  • Detail oriented.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

College, university, or equivalent degree in Engineering or a related technical or scientific field required.

Experience:

Minimal level of relevant work experience required.
