EDUCATION High School graduate or GED equivalent required, undergraduate (associates or bachelors) degree in HIM/HIT preferred.

EXPERIENCE Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital inpatient coding required, 3 years preferred.

CERTIFICATE/LICENSE – RHIT, RHIA or CCS preferred.
