Sodexo is seeking an OPERATIONS MANAGER 2, FOOD for Desert Springs Hospital, a 346 bed non-profit acute care hospital located in Las Vegas, Nevada. This strategic account includes Food Services. and Environmental Services. We areseeking an experienced operations manager to support the Food Services area. Retail volumes are about $1M annually with a main cafe, physicians dining, and catering components supported. Candidate must have excellent labor relations skills and have proven history of driving customer satisfaction

Position Summary

Manages all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and directly supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Assumes General Manager’s (GM) responsibilities and authority in his/her absence.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience - 4 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
