You will be responsible for developing and enhancing customer relationships by responding to inquires and fulfilling customer needs to ensure satisfaction. You must be able to promptly and courteously answer telephones, e-mails, and faxes, along with responding to customer requests with accuracy. This position is responsible for processing orders, advising customers regarding products and programs, advising management of crucial changes in customer order patterns, and notifying management of any serious conflict that may occur that could be detrimental to continuing business with the customer. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* *
Provide friendly, efficient, and accurate solutions to customers to satisfy their needs.
Ensure that the customers always have the most up to date information about the status of their order.
Process order and product inquires and correct inaccurate data.
Determine, correct, and communicate order information accurately to the customer and internal personnel.
Perform clerical duties associated with processing customer orders.
Immediately notify supervisor of all situations of a unique or serious nature.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Required Education and Experience:* *
One year of Customer Service Experience
Basic Computer Skills
Excellent phone etiquette and courtesy for customer support
Strong communication skills (oral and written)
High tolerance for pressure generated from problem situations.
Previous experience in Transportation and Logistics is helpful.
