Lockheed Martin Commercial Satellite Vehicle Manager in Littleton, Colorado

This Commercial Satellite Program Vehicle Manager is responsible for Spacecraft hardware deliveries and integrating and coordinating Assembly, Test, and Launch Operations (ATLO). Selected candidate will coordinate program need dates and requirements to engineering, production, supply chain and ATLO managers. This position will oversee end to end planning and lead the effort to ensure hardware deliveries are met supporting ATLO need dates for Commercial Satellite Programs. This position will lead a team of systems engineers, integrators, space vehicle bus and payload teams throughout design, engineering and vehicle assembly, test and launch operations. The position will report to the Commercial Space program manager and will serve as an interface between program engineering and procurement, manufacturing and test as well as senior LM management to enable the production and delivery of the Commercial Spacecraft. Individual will work with Integrated Product Team (IPTs) and program planner to ensure budget and schedule performance are achieved. Work with the functional team members and ATLO staff as well as the central ATLO organization to assure proper resource allocations and centralized initiatives are utilized and properly supported. Work with Supply Chain Management and Production to establish needs dates for hardware deliveries at component, sub-system and spacecraft level.

Basic Qualifications Comprehensive experience with space vehicle assembly and test. Production experience. At least 5 years related program or technical experience. Requires degree in engineering or equivalent technical discipline. Demonstrated leadership skills in a dynamic environment, with a demonstrated background in procedure development and SAP. Experience briefing senior leadership and customers on a regular basis. Lockheed Martin CAM certification or equivalent. Experience in lean processes. Demonstrated experience successfully planning complex schedules and ability to make regular schedule and resource adjustments for out of sequence and out of flow situations. Familiarity with A2100 Spacecraft. Experience with launch campaigns and vehicle processing operations. Strong project management skills. Demonstrated experience successfully managing cross functional teams. Demonstrated successful customer relationships and interfaces. Demonstrates Full Spectrum Leadership Behaviors.

Desired skills 5 years as a coded leader. Detailed knowledge of A2100 spacecraft, subsystem engineering and manufacturing. CAM experience on a Fixed Price type contract (or equivalent). Experience in SV Assembly, Integration and Test planning through launch/delivery of complex space systems. Green/Black Belt certification. Experience managing (as a coded leader) represented employees.
