IBM Graduate - Strategic Analytics Consultant - Start Dates Through 2018 in LONDON, United Kingdom
Job Description Our Advanced Analytics group is the centre of excellence for advanced analytics and business modelling. An enthusiastic and diverse group, we perform strategy consulting with an analytical twist- using data, software and strategy capabilities to solve our clients’ problems. As a Strategic Analytics Consultant, you can expect to work on projects providing specialist analytics or business modelling support. Projects can last anything from a few weeks to over a year, and can be based at a client site, an IBM location or a combination of both. We work at the interface of consulting and analytics; using data to derive insight for our clients, and helping to explain technical concepts using strong communication skills and creative visualisation. We usually work as part of a small team – either with other consultants, or as the modelling specialist within a team of industry experts. Part of the attraction is that all projects and roles are different, and you’ll find yourself in challenging client-facing situations from a very early stage in your career. You’ll have the opportunity to create your own career path- whether that’s focussing on a particular industry, or choosing to specialise in business skills (including business modelling, benefits realisation, customer analytics etc) or technical skills (including R, SQL, Python etc). Training is provided for this role as part of the IBM Consulting by Degrees graduate programme, as well as specific technical training for Strategic Analytics Consultants.
