In this role, you will be responsible for leading internal communications and colleague engagement on behalf of Marsh’s more than 6,000 colleagues in UK & Ireland.

The role is responsible for developing, managing and implementing strategic, regionally relevant and actionable internal communications programmes that advance Marsh’s business objectives, culture, ethics, operational principles and values.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide guidance to the UK & Ireland Executive team and serve as the internal communications business partner to the President of Marsh International. Deliver best practice internal communications within a leading financial and professional services organisation. Through ensuring both consistently high quality communications with colleagues, and also developing strategic plans for the firm and its individual business units, this position is key for delivering on Marsh’s commitment to excellent standards of employee engagement. The position operates at both a strategic and tactical level, engaging key stakeholders such as the company HR function, with a pragmatic focus on results. Key to this is the successful delivery of internal communications campaigns within the broader communications mix. Establish and maintain an integrated, campaign-based approach to internal communications that aligns businesses, functions and offices to deliver culturally appropriate engagement for colleagues. Ownership of all UK & Ireland intranet pages, with responsibility for ensuring content is kept up to date and news regularly posted, while looking afresh at the entire intranet presence across the region. Ensure Marsh’s internal social media platform, Chatter, is used to maximum effectiveness to drive greater colleague collaboration. Ensure the successful delivery of executive communications, including Town Halls, internal visibility, working with the UK & Ireland Executive on delivering essential business messages to colleagues. Support a global internal communications strategy and colleague engagement campaigns.
