We have a great opportunity here at Guy Carpenter for an Internal Communications Specialist to manage the internal communications across the whole of our European, Middle East and African (EMEA) business. This is a varied role in a fast-paced, corporate environment which will require the successful individual to effectively manage multiple marketing and communications tasks to a professional standard. Acting as a key member of the team, the support this position provides will be vital in implementing agreed communications programmes and initiatives.

Our UK Marketing and Communications team at Guy Carpenter is instrumental in utilising the company’s size, scale and expertise to support communication acoss the whole of the EMEA business. The London team consists of 3 professionals, who are fully integrated with our 21 offices in EMEA and collectively work together to ensure the very best standard in colleague engagement.
The successful Internal Communications Specialist will provide marketing and communications support to our UK Marketing and Communications team based in London, by means of managing internal communications, arranging internal events and supporting initiatives to increase colleague engagement, in line with business strategy. In addition the role is responsible for the management of in-house marketing videos, Guy Carpenter’s EMEA Regional intranet pages and social media.
Manage EMEA internal communications – including developing communication plans, writing communication material and bulletins.
EMEA leadership internal communications support – including EMEA updates, briefing materials and arranging internal events.
Support EMEA initiatives to increase colleague engagement – including working with Human Resources to promote Diversity, EQUAL and other similar colleague Resource Groups and their initiatives throughout the EMEA region.
Filming - oversee production of in-house videos, and highlight potential subjects for videos. Identify key questions, prepare interviewees and interviewers as appropriate and liaise with film consultants.
Write articles for Guy Carpenter’s intranet and employee portals.
Qualifications Skills & Experience Educated to degree level, in a relevant field Professional experience within the Financial sector preferable Excellent written and verbal communications skills Proficient with colleague portal software (e.g. Salesforce Communities or Orchestra).
