Job Description

We need an experienced Business Analyst tounderstand and articulate our IT landscape, database architecture and requirements. Specifically, you’ll be working with OneSource, interpreting Thomson Reuters release notes and notifications to determine the impact of any changes to our working environment. It’s an ideal role for someone with significant SAP experience who can analyse requirements, weigh all inputs and outputs and consider all potential ways to resolve them in OneSource.

Relationships are key. You’ll relish working collaboratively with Architects, the Business and other stakeholders to develop the best possible solution. You’ll also cultivate strong links with Process Experts, Process Integration, Design Leads and Application Delivery Leads to gain a holistic overview of new capabilities and requirements. As you’d expect, your role also includes prototyping, unit/integration testing, resolving defects and running book peer reviews.

Requirements

What we need from you

We’ll want to talk to you more at interview to explore your skills and experience in the following areas:

  • Using OneSource Indirect Tax Determination

  • SAP NativeTax experience, particularly in the Finance Accounts Payable/Receivable Procurement and Sales modules

  • Requirements gathering and documenting from a technical solution perspective

  • Ability to work across national boundaries – including global tax knowledge

It’s your personal skills that will make the difference though. You’re:

  • Organised and methodical: able to plan for all eventualities, even when there’s uncertainty or risk.

  • A multitasker: you consistently hit your deadlines and keep your internal customers happy.

  • Abel to switch focus: you see the big picture and have an eye for detail.

  • Delivery focused, with a can-do attitude and the character to influence others.
