IBM Senior Consultant - Watson Marketing in London, United Kingdom
IBM Watson Customer Engagement is currently seeking to hire a Senior Consultant who can develop individualised solutions for each customer (client contacts will usually be members of a companies Marketing and/or IT departments). The candidate will be instrumental in implementing the Watson Marketing SaaS and on-premise solutions within the clients systems with a main focus on the functionality of the software and the business processes of the customers. The role will involve assisting clients in the process descriptions, marketing approach as well as the planning, developing and launch of campaigns as well as carrying out customer training and mentoring activities using Watson Marketing SaaS and on-premise solutions. Other activities involve carrying out sales support/ technical support activities and overall project management on medium sized assignments or project management across a number of assignments Requirements: Functional Ability:
Post sales product consulting experience
Once familiar with the Watson Marketing products to be able to talk with customer marketing resources to drive out business solutions.
Be aware of business roles and be able to advise of business process improvements and change.
Being able to lead workshops and design sessions with Business as well as technical customer representatives
Be able to deliver mentoring, knowledge transfer and also assist with the delivery of formal training to customers related to the Watson Marketing products.
Be willing to gain marketing domain knowledge (if such does not already exist)
DB2, Oracle, or SQL Server preferred
Teradata, Sybase or other database technologies optional
Operating Systems: two of: AIX, Linux, Solaris, Windows
Be able to understand technical challenges related to the Watson Marketing products, implementing the software for our customers
Be able to carry out problem diagnosis
Understand and being able to explain the technical architecture of the Watson Marketing products
Be able to manage oneself on projects
Be able to advise customers on projects tasks, complexities and risk mitigation
Be able to manage multiple projects and advise customers on working with partners
Be able to scope items of work
