Our Opportunity:

The CSIM Technology Business Management team support Schwab business goals through operational management of CSIM Technology. Our team manages strategy and planning, governance and communication as well as budget, workforce and project management. Our team collaborates across a matrixed organization to deliver business value through efficient, disciplined and predictable project execution of effective solutions to business problems and opportunities.

What you’ll do:

Support CSIM technology as follows:

  • Support strategy and planning exercises across the technology department by facilitating meetings and capturing goals

  • Setup governance frameworks, facilitate implementation and report upon tracking of goals

  • Facilitate professional and consistent communication with those outside and inside our organization

  • Assist with managing budget forecasts, tracking and reporting

  • Strategic planning and tracking of workforce composition, logistics, engagement and training.

  • Assist with the creation of presentations to project/program leadership/senior executive management

  • Manage departmental policies and procedures in SharePoint or Confluence

What you have:

Required minimum qualifications include:

  • 1 to 3 years of exposure to various business processes such as Scrum, Kanban, Six Sigma, PMP etc

  • 3 or more years project management experience

  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills

  • Proven ability to build strong partnerships across CSIM and CSIM Technology teams

  • Experience in dealing with different levels of an organization from developers up to executives

  • Highly organized and able to manage a large number of tasks at once

  • Able to work independently, seeking guidance at appropriate times

  • Aptitude with financial data, attention to detail

  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, influencing, and prioritization skills

  • Strong Knowledge of MS Office 2010 (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook and Visio)

  • Knowledge of SharePoint and Confluence

In addition, ideal candidates will also have the following desired qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree

  • Knowledge of Tableau

  • Background experience in financial services industry

  • Experience with and understanding of various software development methodologies, including Agile
