Sr. Manager will serve a key role in defining the strategy, designing, and managing the self-directed experience for clients at Schwab. The Sr. Manager will report into the Digital Offer Management group which is responsible for setting the vision for the digital-centric modern wealth management experience that makes it easy to do business with Schwab and engage self-directed clients. The group collaborates across Schwab’s business enterprises and works with a wide range of internal stakeholders including IT, operations, sales and service, strategy and marketing.
What you’ll do:
You will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary team to understand and design an experience for self-directed clients. You are creative, responsive, and flexible, and able to succeed within a collaborative environment. Responsibilities include:
Guide leadership on market opportunity, discovery, and emerging trends
Iteratively determining market and application strategy and related task for self-directed offer
Lead quantitative and qualitative information-gathering and analysis to identify insights, evaluate opportunities and inform decisions
Develop, manage and execute project work plan
Work with Finance and internal reporting groups to define and report on progress against key business indicators
Collaborate with broader team on complementary business objectives and programs
Foster a deep understanding of self-directed client needs and champion those needs across the organization

What you have:
Experience developing insights about client needs, attitudes and emotions to design and/or position products or services
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including being able to synthesize data, develop recommendations and present to senior management
Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently to meet tight deadlines with little supervision
Skilled in operating at both strategic and tactical levels
Curiosity, a can-do attitude and the ability to learn quickly and thrive in a complex, dynamic environment
Experience and comfort communicating with senior executives and the ability to gain respect and support of leadership, partners, and peers
Strong interpersonal skills and must exemplify the vision and values of Schwab
BA required/MBA preferred
Proficiency in power point and excel
3+ years of experience managing cross-functional projects and programs with tight deadlines
3+ years of experience in product or process definition having taken a product or process from concept to execution
