Reporting into the Managing Director of CSIM Index Product Management, the Index Product Implementation Manager will lead and own all aspects of product implementation as it impacts CSIM’s index product offering. This role is a management position and will require strong personal and managerial skills. The Index Implementation Manager is expected to lead the execution of all index product based projects such as quarterly and annual reporting, launch processes and product enhancements, product positioning statements, RFP responses, data validation, and regulatory communications.
This full-time position, based in Denver is part of the Charles Schwab Investment Management Services Group (CSIM) Product Management team. A minimum one week per calendar quarter travel would be required for this role.
What you’ll do:
Engage in continuous process improvement to increase communication quality, efficiency, consistency and team dynamics
Monitor and report on competitive developments. Develop competitive dashboards
Work with subject-matter experts to develop and refine market commentary content prior to publication
Compose clear and informative content for a wide variety of publications including client reports, web pages, marketing materials, and PowerPoint decks
Present numerical data effectively using Excel tables and graphs
Proofread and edit work for spelling and grammar, and formatting to company standards
Copyedit, fact-check and proofread communications and presentations for spelling, grammar, style, consistency and appropriate content as defined by the CSIM brand voice and legal guidelines
Work closely with business partners such as project managers, marketing, data analytics and product developers to ensure uniformity and accuracy
Manage vendor relationships
Provide oversight and direction on annual and quarterly review processes
Manage a small team of individuals to complete and return assignments by stated deadlines
What you have:
Strong leadership skills that can manage a high-functioning team to deliver results and grow engagement; skilled at operating at both the strategic and tactical levels
Highly organized and detail-orientated
Experience with proofreading
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in an intensive, multiple-deliverable work environment
Self-starter who works well as part of a team
Thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, is obsessively attentive to detail, and is committed to providing outstanding customer service every day
Prioritize and manage workload independently in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
Passion for investing and following investment trends
Solid understanding of financial markets, including a robust knowledge of ETFs
Skilled in communicating with coworkers in order to understand and explain mistakes and how to correct them
Superior relationship-building skills, project management talent and the ability to influence and build consensus across all levels of the organization
Confidence to work with senior leadership inside CSIM and across channel(s)
Strong data analysis and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
5+ years related experience, ideally in financial services strategy or product development/ management roles
Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, MBA preferred.
Licensure: Series 7 a plus
