RPWS is responsible for the development and execution of a comprehensive set of personal wealth and retirement products and services through Banking, Merrill Edge and Advisory channels. RPWS provides tools and content that enables financial advisors and bankers to help their client’s live better financial lives.

Job Description:

In a Goals Based Wealth Management approach, provide expertise to our PBIG Advisors, Wealth Concentrators and HNW/UHNW clients in the sales and marketing of estate planning, wealth transfer and business insurance. This is done through the utilization of life, disability, and long-term care insurance solutions to High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth individuals and families within the Merrill Lynch PBIG and Advisory offices. The successful Ultra High Net Worth Insurance Specialist will partner with the local Wealth Strategist and Trust Specialists and take a team approach to working with our PBIG Advisors, Wealth Concentrators and HNW/UHNW clients on all aspects of their clients’ Estate Planning and Insurance needs. They will provide top level advice and guidance as they build relationships with all of the PBIG Advisors, Wealth Concentrators and HNW/UHNW clients within their territory. They are expected to manage all insurance sales within a defined territory, from needs analysis and client meetings, through the application and underwriting process to policy delivery.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent life insurance experience

• 12+ years directly related experience working with Ultra High Net Worth Retail and/or Brokerage Producers

• Significant experience with Advanced Estate Planning Techniques focused on Insurance Solutions

• Series 7 and Series 63 Required (Candidates without must obtain within 120 days of hire)

• Life, Health and Variable Life Insurance licensing

• Excellent relationship building, written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced team environment

• Self-Driven and independent worker with a sense of urgency and drive towards results
