Duties and RESPONSIBILITIES:
As and outstanding logistician you will:
Provide engineering logistical support to Navy Weapon Systems programs.
Assist in the planning and scheduling of modernization efforts of assigned Weapon Systems.
Participate in the shipping, receiving, organizing, storing and issuing of Sponsor Owned Material and Navy weapons equipment.
Prepare DD1149's by pulling materials; packing boxes; building boxes; placing order in delivery area.
Assist in the preparation of materials by pulling from stock to meet delivery requirements.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Typically requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and zero to two years of related experience. An active Secret DoD security clearance is required. Knowledge and experience with the Navy's Weapons System design, operation and maintenance.
Normal demands associated with an office and warehouse environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
