We are seeking a capable System/Business Design Analyst with Superannuation experience to perform and provide high quality systems/business design analysis and determine the appropriate systems changes for various in-house and revenue-generating projects within the Consumer Wealth business within Mercer Pacific (Australia and New Zealand).
Reporting into the System Design Analyst Team Manager within our Project Management Office (PMO) you will:
Perform Planning activities to determine the best approach and techniques on the project
Analyse requirements, solution analysis and estimate of effort for detailed quotes within the analysts expertise
Prepare functional and technical specifications, including mapping for all registry and ancillary systems
Manage relationship between internal and external stakeholders across the business and technology areas within the analyst area of expertise
Manage the provision of information to establish the agreed data integration platform, liaising with the Data Analyst and external stakeholders where required
Establish a process for ensuring accurate member records MIC management and asset transfer
Validation of system and application changes, including benefit replication and bulk reconciliation to enable signoff on benefits
Support test team activities including triage and impact analysis
Participate in project rollout activities and support for business users
Contribute to the development of new artifacts for re-use and to improve efficiency
Ensure time spent on each project is accurately recorded and entered into Webcas on a weekly basis
Provide learnings back to Analyst Team and contribute to continuous improvement
Projects are interesting, challenging and high impact for our internal stakeholders and external high profile clients, and relate to fund benefit design changes or updates, implementing legislation related changes, or installing new business, new products, fund wind ups.
Superannuation experience is essential
Relevant tertiary and/or ASFA accreditation
Sound working knowledge of superannuation (or similar) systems and business functions
Sound knowledge around ETL requirements, mapping and tools
SuperB/Sonata/Calibre experience highly regarded
Strong relationship building/stakeholder management skills internally and with external providers
Fast learner, self-motivated and proactive attitude
Good problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent documentation skills
Good learning and conceptual thinking skills
Proficiency in: System Design Analysis Planning and Monitoring, Requirements Analysis and Design Definition, Specify and Model Requirements, Verify Requirements, Validate Requirements, Define Requirements Architecture, Define Design Options, Analyze Potential Value and Recommend Solution, Solution Evaluation
