This is an exciting opportunity in Memphis, Tennessee for a Maintenance Manager. Cummins USA is where you can work on industry leading projects.
Your impact will happen in these and other ways:
Manages the planning and execution of the preventive, predictive, and condition based maintenance of production equipment.
Manages Maintenance Engineers and related departmental activities; establishes performance standards; formulates staff development plans; coaches and motivates staff; provides guidance and direction on problems and issues; delegates works assignments considering employee skills and development needs.
Partners with Facilities, Quality and Manufacturing Engineering on problem identification, trouble shooting and equipment issue resolution and repair.
Identifies training needs for team and line employees, conducts training; coaches and trains line employees on new maintenance processes.
Identifies opportunities to support continuous improvement initiatives; drives change in the department.
Provides technical consultation and advice to staff and project teams.
Skills and Experience
10 years maintenance experience, including at least 2 years supervisory experience, required.
Responsible for day-to-day management and execution of all aspects of HSE compliance related to equipment and facilities maintenance, including but not limited to:
Lockout Tagout (LOTO)
Work at Height and Ladder Safety
Confined Space Entry
Responsible for management and execution of equipment inspection & PM components of Hoist and Crane Safety compliance.
Responsible for management and execution of equipment inspection & PM components of Machine Guarding compliance.
Responsible for management and execution of the Cummins apprenticeship program.
Previous experience managing a unionized workforce desired.
Six Sigma Green Belt certification desired.
Education, Licenses, Certifications
College, university, or equivalent degree required.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience plus annualized bonus potential.
