Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Customer Service Representative.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Verify product/stock numbers, pricing and product availability and order status utilizing Thermo’s ERP system.

  • Assist customer with order placement and provides data entry of orders into Thermo ERP system.

  • Troubleshoot customer issues and takes corrective action to resolve issue for the customer.

  • Confirm order acknowledgements to customers.

  • Work with various departments within Thermo to clarify any discrepancies prior to order entry. This includes working closely with field sales and customer service, as needed, to clarify customer requirements.

  • Create sales order files, manage order filing and correspondence filing per Thermo retention policy.

  • Assist the customer in identifying what alternatives are available to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

  • Review sales orders and “out of warranty” customers for PSA opportunity

  • Generate PSA offering

  • Process PSA orders, maintain FE schedules for PSA

  • Manage correspondence with customers and internal personnel within different departments.

  • Obtain necessary approvals and documentation to address customer concerns appropriately.

  • Maintain friendly, positive attitude while paying attention to the details of the job to exceed the customer’s expectations.
