Eaton Corporation Product Analyst in MM, India
- PRIMARY FUNCTION:*
State the primary function or overall purpose of your position.
This position will be is responsible to manage conversion and obsoletion of Fluid conveyance parts within hydraulics group. This position has responsibility related to part identification and analysis, issuing a formal request in coordination with different functions, Issue resolutions related to pricing, customer notifications, inventory management , understanding of open warranty claims, pending orders and open quotes. Manufacturing operating systems updates and documentation. In addition to this the position is also be responsible for managing the bulk transfer and updates of data within the system.
This position is a part of the product management Team and works very closely with the business to get high level of product/business understanding. Position requires high level of familiarity and engagement with different sources( PDM / PLM Tools like Enovia etc…) to manage product data conversion
The position also Communicates with business stakeholders, technical and commercial teams. The individual must be precise and detailed oriented. Must have the ability to continually prioritize work within the company objective of supporting key customers. Initiative and a strong work ethic are necessary as much of the work is self-directed by nature

Responsible for coordinating and completing the part conversion in system.
Responsibility for verification of inventory, Price, Customer Approval, orders accuracy through confirmations from various other functions
Update Customer part number to Eaton part number correlations in system.
Assigning appropriate price in the system
Experience related to demand planning
Experience in Product lifecycle Management, product development and management exposure.
Collaborates with technical team for system improvements
Good exposure to working on Tools and applications like Enovia, PLM, ERP systems.
Develop measures of Product data quality, maintain metrics, and publish to stakeholders. Publish reports.
Ability to present details of complex data quality or workflow issues for internal review
Work with source system owners and technical team to extract product data for consumption.
Identify issues that hinder the part conversions
Flexible attitude to work with the willingness to learn new skills when required.
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)
- SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:*
Describe any specialized knowledge or skills (e.g., technical, scientific, administrative, managerial) which your position requires.
B-Tech./ Diploma Mechanical engineering with 2-4 Years of experience in Product data management.
Good understanding of databases
Knowledge of Product data processing at an administrator level would be preferred but is not required.
Experience in creating or maintaining process flows
Knowledge of various IT systems and processes [product management, manufacturing, marketing and engineering]
Experience in Enovia, ERP Systems,Oracle and Microsoft business suite, Document Management, PowerSource
Expertise in MS-Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Database query experience ( SQL) and Macros.
Good with data analytics and Reporting( Experience of reporting tools)
Co-ordinate with different functional heads/personnel as per the need and able to take other tasks which would be assigned time to time.
