Hilton Operations Manager in Nadi, Fiji

What will I be doing?

As Operations Manager, youwill be responsible for the effective operational management of the hotel so Headsof Department achieve and exceed their revenue and Guest satisfaction targets.Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to thehighest standards:

·Work in conjunction with the Hotel Manager to actively manage key propertyissues

·Assist the development of meaningful, achievable hotel budgets and othershort and long term hotel strategic goals

·Provide effective leadership to the hotel management team and teammembers to ensure targets are met and exceeded

·Respond to audits that are completed by the company to ensure continualimprovement is achieved

·Plan, direct and coordinate the service delivery of all operationaldepartments in order to meet and exceed guest expectations

·Comply and exceed hotel and company Service Standards

·Ensure that costs are controlled throughout the operational departmentsand results are analysed regularly to highlight problem areas and takeappropriate action

·Manage and develop the Heads of Department to ensure career progressionand effective succession planning within the hotel and company

·Seek and respond to Guest feedback in order to achieve positive outcomesand high levels of customer satisfaction

Whatare we looking for?

·Provenexperience with an internationally branded Hotel chain as an Operations Manageror similar role

·TertiaryDegree in Hospitality would be beneficial

·Proven experience in Food and Beverage managementis essential

·Strong leadership skills to effectively manage andmotivate the team to achieve high level of performance and exceed targets

·In-depth knowledge of the hotel sector, accountableand resilient

·Well established history of effective Operationleadership and proven ability to manage, lead and have a passion to develop theteam in a similar international large hotel/resort

·Must have sound knowledge & experience inmanaging budget and maximising profits for relevant departments

·Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to workin a diverse professional team

·Attention to detail and excellent organizationalskills with ability to work under pressure
