The Director of Corporate Facility Management provides direct leadership and responsibility for the maintenance, repair and overall facility management operational performance for HCA corporate office space. This position manages the maintenance team, special building system technicians, space manager, property manager, contract service providers, and capital projects for both infrastructure upgrades and space projects. This position optimizes the capital productivity of the corporate office real estate operations for a safe, quality and cost effective environment for corporate employees and their support spaces.

*MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES * * Provides leadership and manages the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds for more than 1.2M SF (HCA corporate campus locations) * Supervises the Space Manager position * Manages the housekeeping services contract for the corporate campus * Responsible for providing consulting support for the buildings and associated building infrastructure associated with the company’s data centers. * Understands both theory and practice for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and Building Envelop Systems of a building and campus. * Supervises the Property Manager position supporting all remote office space locations. * Maintains the proficiency and response 24/7 for building systems, inclement weather conditions and other emergency situations. * Develops and manages budgets related department 870 and other associated activities described herein. * Provides subject matter expertise with building automation controls, critical power and cooling systems and facility management operations * Proactively plans and takes action to maintain building system reliability and use appropriate course of action to remediate potential facility infrastructure risks. * Develops and implements energy cost savings measures. * Provides support on an as needed basis to other HCA business office occupancies across the country including Parallon-BPG, Supply Chain, Division Offices and other locations.


College Degree Required


More than 10 Years of Experience 7 - 10 Years of Management Experience

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS* * Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems (including centrifugal chiller plants), Steam Plants, Electrical systems (including Emergency Generators), Medical Gas Systems and Building Automation Systems required * Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects * Excellent communication skills required to explain technical issues to non-technical people * Proficient in preparing written reports, presentation, spreadsheets including include financial analysis * Knowledge of Facility Regulatory Matters. * Engineering or comparable building sciences degree * Moderate travel required
