This job is responsible to process claim approvals from the vendor and calculate appropriate payment of disability pay.


  • Multi-task to ensure disability claims are processed and paid out by the payroll deadline.

  • Interact with CMI employees and the CMI HR community to provide information on claims.

  • Respond to claim inquiries within 24-48 business hours.

  • Maintain a high level of customer service in all communications, including verbal and written.


  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 2 years customer service related experience is required


  • Insurance and benefits knowledge is preferred

  • Computer applications, such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and other Microsoft Office Products

  • Ability to work within a team environment while effectively maintaining a personal workload.

  • Ability to accurately calculate percentages of pay and enter information into reports.

  • Ability to accurately and confidentially record customer and client information from inbound and outbound communications with a high level of customer service.

Compensation and Benefits

Base hourly rate commensurate with experience.
