This is an exciting opportunity in Nashville, Tennessee for an Administrative Assistant. Cummins USA is where you can work on industry leading Supply Chain projects.

Your impact will happen in these and other ways:

This role will provide professional executive administrative support to the General Manager of Cummins Filtration business segment as well as 1-2 other members of the Cummins Filtration leadership team.

  • Provide excellent executive administrative skills for the General Manager of Cummins Filtration and others including managing calendar, prioritizing agendas, phone coverage, Outlook inbox, filing, maintaining supplies, faxes utilizing excellent computer skills, presentation skills and communication skills whilst maintaining confidentiality and professional maturity

  • Organize and execute all travel arrangements for the General Manager of Cummins Filtration including booking of company plane, and travel visa requests

  • Prepare all agenda items and logistics for monthly Executive Staff Meetings and one to one meetings and maintain Executive Leadership Team databases and vacation calendars

  • Organize and schedule meetings for both internal and external visitors including logistics and catering (if and when required)

  • Prepare and communicate all organizational announcements within both Cummins Filtration and Cummins Inc.

  • Arrange Quarterly All Employee Communication Sessions for all employees globally in Cummins Filtration Business Unit including preparation of PowerPoint presentations

  • Involvement in Community Initiatives as an active team member

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Knowledge and experience in the use of Outlook, spreadsheets, word processing, and databases (preferably MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  • Ability to use basic office equipment (e.g., telephone system, printer, fax, copier, etc.)

  • Must possess strong interpersonal and customer relation skills.

  • Must have an internal drive for customer service and provide an elevated level of service for internal and external customers.

  • Must comply with safety rules and regulations and apply them to daily work routines for personal safety and the safety of others
