Position Description

Responsible for designing, developing, modifying, & evaluating programs for internal functional areas such as business operations, finance, human resources, marketing or governance -Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares design documents, performs development coding, test plans & tests/debugs programs -Develops system or data conversion & system implementation plans -Prepares & obtains approval of system & programming documentation (e.g., business owners, project managers) -Recommends changes in development, maintenance, & system standards -Trains users in conversion & implementation of system & provides end user support -Conducts interviews and/or working sessions to define requirements and/or determine current state & future state processes -Researches & evaluates potential internal and/or external software solutions

Minimum Requirements

2 years experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems

Critical Skills

  • Develop, maintain, test computer, database and web applications based on pre-defined specifications with limited assistance.

  • Define specifications and requirements for enhancements to existing applications, for new development work, and for bug fixes, based on business user requests

  • Create documentation and diagrams for existing applications or for new development work

  • Participate in team meetings to increase business knowledge, code reviews, status updates, and to recommend solutions to business problems

  • Interface with end users regarding program bugs, troubleshooting general PC issues, setting up PCs for deployment, or to demonstrate features in applications

  • Programming and database languages: C#, Javascript, T-SQL, PL/SQL, HTML, CSS

  • Platforms and technologies: Windows Forms, Console Applications, Web services, Node.js, Express.js, Front-end development experience, SQL Server 2008/2012/2014, Oracle 12g, Atlassian suite & git

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • HIPPA knowledge or Healthcare Experience

  • LINUX Operating System Knowledge

  • Experience Writing REST Web Services

Education

4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
