Job Description

Analyzes automated and department processes, monitors expense activity, compiles and reports monthly metrics.

  1. Analyzes, verifies, tracks and reports on the expense monitoring processes (automation, workflow, department setups, reimbursement routing, employee requests, credit card and statistical data).

  2. Reports results on a monthly, quarterly and/or annual basis.

  3. Tracks and reports on statistical variances. Reports discrepancies to Manager.

  4. Assist in designing, developing and modifying systems and procedures to enhance departmental processing, as needed.

  5. Monitors the input and accuracy of databases (people feed, department feed, expense accounts, expense types).

  6. Participates in audits to ensure compliance to departmental policies and procedures and state and federal regulations, as needed.

  7. Maintains compliance with Health System policies, state, federal and industry standards and regulations.

  8. Participates in the customer service process via phone and email.

  9. Participates in training activities for system / process users.

  10. Performs related duties, as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, required. Master’s Degree, preferred.

  • Minimum three (3) years financial or accounting experience, required.

  • Analytical skills, required.

  • Proficiency in Excel, required.
