The Associate Partner (AP) role is in our Worldwide Advanced Analytics Center of Competency (CoC). The AP will work in a matrix organization collaborating with IOT/IMT global AA practice leaders around the world to lead the prioritization, development, and deployment of a high-use, high-return teams. This position is for subject matter experts who are able to apply strategy consulting and advanced analytics to our globally dispersed clients. The responsibilities include working with client executives (often at C-suite levels), defining key business problems, formulating mathematical approaches, gathering and analyzing data to solve problems, collaborating as part of a consulting team in implementing the recommended solution and finally developing analyzing/drawing conclusions and presenting findings and recommendations to clients. • Manage delivery of advanced analytics First of A Kind (FOAK) engagements, leading teams of senior data scientists, developers, strategy consultants and working with broader IBM teams • Identify and develop opportunities for incremental and new advanced analytics pipeline • Manage and drive Request For Information (RFI)/Request For Proposal (RFP) process to closure, including contract negotiation and signing • Manage, maintain and grow relationships with senior client staff • Drive innovative solutions and offerings for Go-to-market • Design and initiate enhancements to the sales and marketing operation • Distribute best practices for the Advanced Analytics practice globally by working with IOT/IMT teams • Responsible for team skill & career developmentSeeking Additional Skills: • Strategic Leadership - defining and executing organization strategy. • Organizational Impact - decision-making authority and impact of decisions • Influence/Collaboration - level of influence within own organization, extended IBM team, client organization, etc. • Demonstrated leadership and adaptability, with willingness to readily and voluntarily take ownership of challenging tasks and problems, even beyond initial scope of responsibility • Thorough and analytical, with capability to apply data mining, text analytics and optimization skills to solve business problems • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines, while maintaining focus despite conflicting demands • Drive to overcome the challenging or difficult obstacles and look for ways to improve results • Initiative to actively seek new knowledge and improve skills • Effective interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and work effectively with individuals, strengthening relationships to achieve win-win solutions • Ability to communicate comprehensive solutions

• At least 7 years of management consulting and business development experience• At least 5 years experience managing diverse teams• At least 5 years experience in advanced analytics techniques in a consulting environment and not solely in an academic environment• At least 4 years experience in predictive analytics using regression and other statistical techniques to conduct forecasting and other predictive modeling services using software such as SPSS• At least 4 years experience in mathematical optimization using SPSS, ILOG CPLEX and other tools which includes linear programming, mixed-integer programming• At least 3 years experience leading and delivering technical projects• Bachelor degree• Readiness to travel Up to 4 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)• English: Fluent
