The GCIB Controls team is seeking a driven, self-motivated individual to assist with the supervision of the business’ activities.
Supports the supervision, control and governance structure for the business unit.
Works with line supervisors and support groups in managing the day-to-day supervision infrastructure including matrices, who-to-whom reporting and monthly supervisory acknowledgements.
Consults with management, the centralized Supervision team, Legal and Compliance to develop strategies to implement change and improvements to current processes; and to work with Compliance and Legal, as appropriate, to update policies and procedures to reflect changes in regulatory rules.
Serves as point of contact for GCIB Operational Risk issues.
Help develop, maintain and enforce the supervisory program.
Address day-to-day regulatory issues as they relate to the business.
Produces supervisory reporting
Candidate will have an understanding of Corporate and Investment Banking and Capital Markets products, services and processes.
Candidate will also have strong organizational, analytical and communication skills.
Knowledge of the regulations governing the business as well as market practices used to supervise these businesses
Detail-oriented to conduct comprehensive supervisory reviews
Ability to liaise with internal audit and compliance
Excellent communication skills
