Bank of America Liquidity Risk Sr. Analyst - Global Liquidity Management in New York, New York

Job Description:

The Liquidity Risk Senior Analyst will be part of the Global Liquidity Management team. The responsibilities include:

  • Produce and review liquidity monitoring and regulatory reports for senior management and external regulatory agencies (U.S. LCR, FR2052a/5G)

  • Work with line-of-business (LOB) partners to analyze key drivers of period over period variances and provide relevant commentary

  • Research reporting issues as they arise and escalate accordingly to the key stakeholders

  • Perform and review reconciliations between general ledger, regulatory reports and management reports for key liquidity products

  • Partner with LOB, Data Management and Technology to improve data sourcing and work flows for liquidity risk reporting

  • Ensure documentation and reporting controls are established and followed in all regulatory reports

  • Interpret reporting and data requirements as new liquidity reports are introduced by regulatory agencies

  • Work on ad-hoc projects as needed by senior management or regulatory requests

Enterprise Role Overview

Produce, monitor, and review liquidity reports. Develop processes to meet reporting requirements. Comply with and enhance documentation and control processes. Assist in data sourcing and analytics to improve liquidity risk reporting. Investigate reporting issues as they arise and escalate accordingly. Assist in defining technology requirements to enhance liquidity risk management capabilities. Participate in development of liquidity risk metrics, forecasting tools and early warning indicators. Assist in implementing new regulatory liquidity risk requirements. Develop and provide expertise in the liquidity risk drivers for specific businesses or products. Lead liquidity related projects. Create management presentations.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum 2+ years of working experience with emphasis in secured financing or derivatives related products

  • Advanced Excel skills (look ups, pivot tables)

  • Experience being able to manage and manipulate large amounts of data

  • Organized and able to work on multiple tasks with limited supervision

  • Solid work ethic and willing to take on new initiatives

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Desired Skills

  • Experience with eLedger, Artic systems

  • Finance or Accounting experience is strongly desired
