The Social Media team is hiring a Manager, Social Media Policy & Governance, to provide oversight and direction for social media governance both within Aetna s expanding Marketing organization, and across all employees. We are looking for a leader to create and maintain an enterprise-wide framework of policies, procedures and tools to support social media governance, and ultimately maintain the reputation of the Aetna brand in social media. This will involve working with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure compliance and understanding of social media governance and best practices.

This new position within Aetna s Social Media team will report directly to the Senior Director, Enterprise Social Media.

The candidate must demonstrate past experience implementing successful governance programs including policies, procedures, playbooks, and supporting training programs. Some social media knowledge required.

Specific responsibilities include:

Create, maintain and distribute social media policies, procedures, playbooks, and training programs across Aetna so all employees are versed in how social media is used for our brand Establish and maintain the process to track adherence and compliance to all social media policies across the Aetna organization Partner with third party vendors to build digital social media training courses and liaise with Aetna s internal learning and training resources to institutionalize these trainings across Aetna Regularly audit all policy and governance assets to identify gaps and modify materials as necessary Act as primary point of contact for Aetna s social media technology vendors; act as administrator for all social media tools including license agreements, permissions, and login credentials for all users across Aetna Outline and maintain the process for establishing new social media channels and sun-setting parody, rogue or non-compliant social media accounts Represent the Enterprise Brand team as part of Aetna s Digital Governance Committee; attend meetings, participate in governance activities and raise issues and concerns to the Senior Director of Social Media, as necessary Own the social media center of excellence; determine the learning agenda, develop necessary information like playbooks and case studies, and track participation

Required Background/Experience

5-7 years of deep experience managing governance and policy in a regulated industry Extreme attention to detail Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills Experience with social media monitoring tools such as Synthesio and Sprinklr helpful Experience with SalesForce Marketing Cloud and/or Social Studio a plus Ability to work independently without close supervision, and as part of a collaborative team; thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment Ability and interest to work collaboratively through various teams and functions Ability to influence others and interact at all levels of an organization Healthcare industry experience a plus

Education: Bachelor s degree required
