The Verizon Media & Entertainment marketing team is growing, and we’re looking for a Managerof Marketing Analytics to help build marketing campaigns for ad-supported and subscription mobile video products. Reporting to the Marketing Analytics & Research Lead, this strategic thinker will work closely with internal teams (Product, Creative, Content Acquisition, Programming, Business Intelligence) and external partners to build data-driven insights that help the marketing organization acquire, activate and retain viewers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes upper- and lower-funnel marketing campaign performance to create actionable insights that inform marketing plans for AVOD and SVOD products.

  • Partners with cross-functional marketing teams (e.g., paid media, CRM, social media, PR, etc.) to measure marketing ROI: correlation and, where possible, direct attribution between each tactic within the channel marketing mix and business performance.

  • Synthesizes data from a variety of sources into actionable marketing recommendations at the organizational, campaign, channel and tactic levels.

  • Reports out to executives on marketing performance on a weekly basis; partners with Business Intelligence team and vendors to build dashboards so team members can access performance data in real time.

  • Partners with Product, Business Intelligence and Media teams to implement, maintain and leverage marketing attribution systems (e.g., Kochava).

  • Measures customer lifetime value across the marketing mix to provide budget insights.

  • Consolidates marketing tactics from all teams (e.g., Facebook posts, published articles, push notifications) and feeds those independent variables into marketing performance models.

  • Translates complex business challenges into hypotheses for testing; leverages first and third party data to draw actionable conclusions.

  • Empowers marketing teams to leverage marketing performance data, evangelizing data-driven decision making across the organization.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or six or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience in marketing/data analytics.

Even better if youhave:

  • MBA.

  • Background in digital media and entertainment; focus on multi-platform products.

  • Extensive experience translating raw data into actionable strategies for non-quantitative audiences.

  • Ability to build retention, churn and upsell models.

  • Comfort working with large, disparate datasets.

  • Proficiency with SQL and working knowledge of Tableau, or comparable platforms.

  • Strong analytical skills and intellectual curiosity.

  • Self-starting and proven ability to work independently.

  • Ability to multitask and effectively project manage deliverables.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and changing environment.

  • Track record of influencing others without direct authority.

  • Collaborative mindset, strong bias for action and solutions-oriented approach.
