Verizon Multicultural Marketing Manager - FiOS in New York, New York

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will serve as an end to end Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Hispanic marketing with an intimate understanding to include segmentation, consumer insights, strategic planning,brief development, marketing plan development, execution, and performance results.

He or she must be a strong strategic and analytical thinker who is passionate about understanding the Hispanic customer attitudes and behaviors, category and marketplace trends, in order to relentlessly optimize and iterate programs to drive FiOS consideration and sales adoption.

The right individual must possess a strong foundation in Hispanic marketing fundamentals as well as a proven track record of developing and implementing strategic plans and marketing programs for the Hispanic market that deliver incremental growth and achieve KPI success metrics.

To be successful, the individual must have strong analytical skills with the ability to use data, research insights and results to back up assumptions, make recommendations and drive their programs. Strong interpersonal skills are required to foster relationships with key members of the Product, Marketing, Research, Legal and PLM teams.

Qualifications

Ideally you will have

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years’ professional experience

  • 5+ years Ad Agency or Client Side experience

  • Fluency in Spanish and English

Even better if you have

  • MBA or Master’s Degree

  • Ability to think strategically with a proven track record of successful campaigns/ programs launches

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and relationship management skills with proven ability to positively influence

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (especially PowerPoint)

  • Previous broadband /entertainment marketing/advertising experience

  • A passion for the broadband industry and for consumer research/insights and data

  • Creative problem solver, able to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously

  • History of team work and willingness to roll up sleeves to do the best job possible

  • Direct mail experience
