Job Description

The Psychometrician will transform care for our patients by administering a variety of psychological tests or clinical research assessments and evaluating the results.

Responsibilities include :

  • Administers a variety of psychological tests, clinical rating scales and/or diagnostic assessments; evaluates results through scoring; documents findings in patient charts.

  • Monitors data collection, patient scheduling and referral follow-up.

  • Performs clinical interviews and testing in accordance with established criteria.

  • Maintains records, audits charts and other administrative duties to ensure smooth functioning of the program.

  • Maintains documentation in patient charts.

  • May coordinate psychological research projects.

  • Trains personnel in the use of standardized procedures or psychiatric rating scales.

  • Maintains the flow of patients into the study, records study data and analyzes for trends; prepares data for publication.

  • May train and supervise students and volunteers in the administration of selected psychological tests.

  • Attends clinical team and research team meetings.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or related field, required.

  • Knowledge of psychology, statistics or psychological testing as normally acquired through the completion of a Master's Degree, preferred.

  • Minimum of one (1) year related experience, required.
