Bank of America Retail Client Manager - Greater Metro New York in New York, New York
The Retail Client Manager's primary responsibility is to develop and manage dealer relationships for the purpose of increasing auto and recreational vehicle loan production, maintaining a dialogue around problems and possible solutions, product needs, competitive issues, and ways to improve dealer value.
At this level, the focus of the position will be retail lending; however, the Retail Client Manager will develop and manage dealer relationships for the purpose of selling auto loan and lease products, cross sell Merrill Edge, and work closely with our Commercial Client Manager for floorplan, merchant, and deposit referrals.
This position will also require working closely with their underwriting partner and will be responsible for growing Retail Auto business within the local market. The position requires a self-motivated person with strong communication skills, time management, computer skills, and individual market forecasting. The Retail Client Manager will be responsible for leading dealer management team meetings as well as analyzing both market data and competitive data. Relationship building, signing new profitable relationships, and growing application volume is a key component of successful candidates.
5+ years experience selling Retail Auto Financing to Automobile dealerships or outside sales skills
Strong communicator and good negotiation skills
Individual contributor with team player attitude
- Must have the ability to drive long distances
Strong selling skills to help sell our values and cross sell bank products
Ability to work independently in a team environment
Established relationships with Auto Dealers in the local market
