IT auditor who can independently execute assigned audit activities focusing on data testing. Provides expertise, advice and counsel based on advanced business and/or audit experience to a complex business and/or across several business groups. Exercises judgment and influences senior business managers and peers. Helps business partners balance their business strategy with appropriate risk management controls. Exercises judgment and critical thinking to influence business partners. Identifies control trends in assigned business areas as well as impact the business and to the Bank overall by applying deep and broad business acumen. Contributes to the development, implementation and communication of Audit's missions, goals and strategies. Interacts with external consultants and other internal risk management groups. General Description: Independently executes assigned audit activities and supervises audit team. Responsible for multiple projects simultaneously. Utilizes sound, seasoned analytical skills and possesses product, business, and technical expertise to execute assigned responsibilities. Coordinates, schedules, scopes and leads team activities on audits (incl. large, cross-functional). Leads analysis of control deficiencies as well as expansion and refinement of documentation for more complex control deficiencies to drive actionable business impact, influences management on sufficiency of correctives actions, recommends audit rating. Implements risk based audit strategy **Position is posted as a more senior level position- Senior Auditor II but is flexible to be filled as a lower level position Senior Auditor I if the posted qualifications are met by a strong lower level Senior Auditor I candidate Required Skills: Audit, Risk, Technology, Info Security, Compliance or other related experience Strong understanding of Technology Understanding of IT general controls or other IT controls as indicated in COBIT Sound organizational, analytical, oral and written communication skills - Ability to successfully communicate to influence management and lead change in both strategic and tactical initiatives. Self Starter, desire to learn, able to teach others, high energy, positive attitude, exhibits flexibility Ability to work in a very detailed manner as well as to look broadly across a population and develop connections and themes identifying risk and concerns Ability to juggle multiple work efforts and to quickly change direction Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products Ability to converse with management on all levels Excellent written and oral communication skills Bachelors degree Desired Skills: Previous experience auditing Information Technology Strong understanding of Enterprise Data Management processes including data quality & control, governance, metadata and data provisioning. Strong analytical skills, using SQL/Excel or similar tools to analyze large amounts of data. Advanced degree Six Sigma knowledge/certification CISA Certification Strong presentation skills
