Job Description:

The position as a member of the Global Banking Enterprise Stress Testing and Recovery & Resolution Plan (GB EST/RRP) team, will be responsible for

  • Quantifying, summarizing and reporting revenue, expense and balance sheet impacts from various adverse economic scenarios on the Global Banking businesses for submission to the FED, OCC and Senior Management.

  • Assisting with financial projections for scenario generation, balance sheet, revenue and expense impacts resulting from resolution and recovery actions for submission to the various regulatory bodies and Senior Management.

GB EST/RRP works with the Line of Business, Business Finance, Corporate Treasury, Central EST & RRP Offices, Risk leaders and Consultants throughout GBAM to review and analyze the financial and business impacts.

The Intermediate or Senior Finance Analyst will help support the analysis and reporting of Global Banking earnings and balance sheet projections for hypothetical economic scenarios. This reporting is extensive, spanning multiple scenarios, multiple business lines, multiple legal entities, multiple income statement / balance sheet line items and metrics, all over a 9 quarter planning horizon. The results are used in deliverables for the CCAR (Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review), the Federal Reserve’s annual assessment of the capital adequacy for the largest and most complex U.S. Banks, and OCC’s equivalent DFAST requirement. Both mid-year and year end reporting is required and is completed through the compilation of FR Y-14A reporting templates and supporting documentation. Existing analysis and reporting of the results is completed through extensive use of Excel template submissions from line of business finance /controller contacts.

The work routines and financial projections and reporting described will help support the Front Line Units in the generation of a business strategy including supporting assumptions in BAC’s Recovery and Resolution Planning which is an annual deliverable to the Federal Reserve and Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. The financial forecasts include projections under various adverse economic scenarios as defined by the Central Team. This is an annual requirement although there are certain aspects of the RRP that may be required on a quarterly basis. The analysis is achieved through consolidation of excel templates which are received from various finance team members including those created by the RRP team.

This position is posted as an SFA but is flexible to be filled as an IFA if the posted qualifications are met by a strong IFA level applicant.
