Bank of America Consumer Product Strategy Analyst III (H5) in Newark, Delaware

Job Description:

Responsible for performing more complex analysis and modeling for multiple products with the goal of maximizing profits and asset growth and minimizing risk and operating losses and/or other financial and marketing exposures. Develops complex program models to extract data and uses multiple databases to acquire statistical and financial data. Utilizes portfolio trends to propose policy/procedural changes within segmentation structure to produce optimal results. Excels at risk/reward trade off. Build relationships with external agencies. Participates in the rollout of company-wide pilot programs developed as a result of programmed models. Duties primarily include the regular use of discretion, independent judgment, the ability to communicate with multiple levels of management and the utilization of core leadership behaviors. SAS and/or MicroStrategy experience preferred; 2-5 years experience preferred.

  • Analysts with skills in the alternative analysis approach traditionally used by information security red teams whose purpose is to conduct assessments in order to identify and mitigate fraud risk. This will be accomplished by conducting analysis from the perspective of a perpetrator and providing a comprehensive assessment on fraud-prevention strategies, policies and procedures involved with any given set of information. Analysts will analyze a perpetrators methodology and report out actionable recommendations and stop-gap functionality to the strategy and policy partners. They will be required to maintain step by step documentation on all methods and flows utilized during any given assessment. The focus of any given assessment will be determined by regular engagement and understanding of: newly introducedprocesses/technologies, fraud incomings and losses, as requested by strategy/policy partners.This team will not conduct information-security penetration tests or application security tests as they are completed by the GIS Red Team.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of web and/or mobile application penetrating testing

  • Good knowledge of Networking and Network Protocols

  • Ability to analyze people, processes and application flows for exploitable gaps and vulnerabilities

  • Strong social engineering skills

  • Proficient at scripting languages including Python, Perl & Shell

  • Good knowledge of mobile applications and platforms

  • Forensics knowledge

  • Coding and programming knowledge

Desired Skills:

  • Fraud knowledge experience and application of Fraud channel knowledge

  • Global Information Security knowledge
