Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a Mid-Level Software Developer/Programmer to join our team in Norfolk, VA.

Essential Responsibilities Include:

  1. Analyze and test output for validity, and prepare written reports documenting test results for medium scale software projects.

  2. Prepare software test plans/cases and other such documentation.

  3. Function with developers to plan for detailed analysis of computer program code, documentation, and output to insure validity, consistency, and conformance to applicable standards.

  4. Support lifecycle application development including requirements gathering, software development, debugging, and testing.

  5. Comply with hardware and software systems standards and procedures.

  6. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and at least 5 years of job related experience or equivalent.

  • Excellent communications and analytical skills.

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Object-Oriented Design/Analysis and web development/architectural methodologies.

  • Education/Experience in any of the following programming languages: C#, ASP.net, SQL, Telerik Controls for .Net, AJAX, JavaScript, XML, HTML.

  • Position requires the ability to analyze, test, and propose solutions to problems in operational software.

  • Position requires an active Secret Security Clearance.
