Job Description:

One of our tasks is to provide a wide range of Medical Information Delivery Support for various DoD Medical IT systems and technologies.

The Defense Health Agency’s (DHA) mission is to provide a medically ready force to Combatant Commands in both peacetime and wartime. The DHA supports the delivery of integrated, affordable, and high quality health services to the MHS (Military Health System) beneficiaries and is responsible for driving greater integration of clinical and business processes across the MHS.

Our team of IT and Health Care specialists provide a wide range of Medical Information Delivery Support for various DoD Medical IT systems and technologies.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Defines and develops quality standards for receiving, in-process, and final inspection in accordance with company and contractual requirements. Interfaces with customers, vendors, and various company departments to resolve quality problems and provide information. May provide work leadership for lower level employees.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

Applies test methodology, engineering and product knowledge in the design of tests and testing strategies for the analysis and qualification of products. Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. Participates in developing new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities. Prepares reports to communicate involvement and results of quality assurance activities. Creates and manages multiple test environments for testing system functionality, system scalability and system deployment. Performs inspections and sets quality assurance testing models for analysis of raw materials, materials in process, and finished products. Writes and/or reviews technical and performance specifications, quality levels, sampling plans, and inspections procedures. Reviews receiving inspections of materials, supplies, and equipment made by company, vendors or customers. Reviews certificates of compliance or test reports to determine validity. Analyzes commodity test data and writes evaluation reports. Investigates complaints of non-conforming commodities and arranges for replacement or credit, when applicable. Locates and approves independent testing facilities when necessary. Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service. May provides leadership to lower level employees.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and five to seven years of related experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
