Current Need:

Batch Builder Assistant: Monday-Friday 1pm-9:30pm

Position Description

Responsible for assisting in the resolution of batch builder errors to ensure a timely flow of work to the warehouse floor. Assists with daily communication to (but not limited to) sales, customer service, corporate, internal and external customers utilizing phone, fax and email. Assists with the timely release of picks to the warehouse to ensure route priorities and time lines. Support the coordination of daily outbound courier/will call orders. Assist in the resolution of various JD Edwards and web page errors to support overall operational system maintenance. Assist the shipping team with the close out process. Maintain an organized work area while adhering to all McKesson safety rules and regulations. Must be able to be flexible with hours to cover PTO within the department. Perform other duties as necessary or assigned.

Minimum Requirements

1 years distribution experience

Additional Knowledge & Skills

Some knowledge of Material Handling issues; Basic reading, writing, addition and subtraction skills

Education

HS Diploma or Equivalent

Physical Requirements

Ability to perform lifting (weight varies based on product)
