Ogden Regional Medical Center has a part time Interventional Radiology Technologist position available!

The Angio Technologist (IR/Interventional Radiology) performs professional duties involved in all special radiographic procedures, with latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Must have a working knowledge of life-saving techniques and be capable of performing well under pressure. Must have advanced knowledge of the complexities of the angiographic equipment. Must be capable of performing effectively as an integral member of the angiographic team. Is responsible for the assessment, treatment or care appropriate to the ages of the patients served. Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient’s needs; possesses knowledge of growth and development; and has an understanding of the range of treatment needed for these patient groups.

  • Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

  • Current license with the State of Utah upon hire.

  • Vascular Interventional Radiology Certification preferred.

  • Technologists hired with an RT license only are required to obtain the VIR Board Certification within 15 months of hire. If the technologist is unable to achieve VIR Board Certification within the allotted time they will voluntarily forfeit their position as a special procedures technologist.

  • Option to be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology as a Vascular Interventional Radiology Technologist.

  • Two (2) years experience as a registered technologist

  • One (1) year as a Vascular Interventional Radiology Technologist preferred.
