Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer / Mission Planning / Senior Level / Orlando, FL in Orlando, Florida
Lockheed Martin’s Mission, Fire, & Control (MFC) organization in Orlando Florida is seeking a Senior Level Systems Engineer to work with the latest technologies in Mission Planning Systems development. Selected candidate will design, update, enhance, and correct existing mission planning software products for the next generations of platforms. Position involves determining and shepherding software changes through entire life-cycle from concept through validation and sell-off. Tasks will include requirements analysis; software change report creation, management, and tracking; updating software and design requirement specifications, updating test procedures, software integration, test, and requirement verification.
This opportunity allows you to work directly with the product and have great impact on the program. Will be working directly with suppliers, resources, and customers to develop and integrate disparate software from multiple sources. Domestic Travel will be required as needed.

Basic Qualifications Must be able to obtain a secret security clearance prior to start
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Physics, or the Sciences required.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in systems engineering is required.
Desired skills Mission planning experience, operating system experience on SUN/UNIX and PC/Windows, software development experience, integrating disparate software from multiple sources, test and troubleshooting software releases, supplier management experience, training package development and presentation, travel is expected. JMPS experience desired.
