Job Description:

The PhilanthropicFiduciary Executive(PFE) is responsible for ensuring theintegrity of client service and administrative support offered to philanthropic clients in alignment with U.S. Trust’sfiduciary risk framework. The PFE maintainsresponsibility for adherence to the risk framework, helping define our risk tolerance, setting broad and specific risk objectives for client teams and monitoring progress against risk objectives while achieving efficiency and risk goals. The PFE will also serve as the point of escalation for Philanthropic Fiduciary Managers (PFMs) looking to remediate risk-related issues and will maintain oversight for the overall risk profile of the business and resolution of fiduciary risk-related account issues, SIAIs, etc. The PFE drives and contributes on a range of strategic initiatives concentrated on improving our service delivery quality and efficiency, within our overall risk framework (e.g. establishing segmented client service support and delivery models). In addition, the PFE will seek to identify best practices to helpdriveservice quality andefficiency whilemaintaining adherence to our risk model.

Major Responsibilities

•Ensure all philanthropic accounts are managed within the fiduciary risk framework, including compliance with all regulations, policies and procedures•Execution of strategic direction of business function activities•Key contact and liaison with UST Risk, Compliance and OCF•Point of escalation and oversightfor the management and resolution of fiduciary risk relatedaccount issues•Lead key projects and initiatives relatedto philanthropic account management, client delivery, and risk/compliance•Carry out complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues•Oversight of development and implementation of fiduciary best practices.

Key Skills & Competencies

•Institutional and/or private philanthropic industry and sector expertise

•Significant knowledge of the legal, tax, investment and compliance aspects of philanthropic andfiduciaryadministration•Exceptionalability to execute on strategic initiatives with demonstrated success as leader, driver and partner models•Proactively manages problems and issues•Strong negotiating, organization and problem solving skills•Displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity•Comprehensive knowledge of UST platform capabilities•Influencer – drive collaboration among key team members•Communicates with presence; listens effectively to demonstrate understanding, and communicates with clarity and conviction to influence thinking•Solution oriented with a bias toward action.

Desired Qualifications

•12+ years of successful experience in managing philanthropic relationships with nonprofit and/or high net worth clients (or equivalent)•Strong knowledge of fiduciary standards, principles, and applicable laws and regulations•Seasoned multi-disciplinary expert with extensive technical and/or business knowledge and functional expertise•Proven track record of delivering solutions through analytical problem solving
