Job Summary:

Prepares files and computer data base files for credentialing and recredentialing practitioners and providers in accordance with DPW, NCQA and IBC. The Credentialing Verification Technician is responsible to ensure record organization and uniformity and analyze information for deficiencies regarding required documentation. Upon completion of the credentialing/recredentialing process the Credentialing Verification Technician is responsible for follow up on all files.

Job Related Requirements Knowledge/Qualifications/Skills/Abilities:

  • Required high school diploma/Associate Degree or equivalent preferred and medical terminology preferred.
  • Required minimum 2 years progressive secretarial /administrative experience.
  • Required proven Data Entry skills.
  • Required PC proficency (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Preferred Credentialing experience.
